Integrated Therapeutic Massage
Zeph Casias, LMT | Kokoro Massage and Bodywork, Bozeman, MT

Integrated Massage is a fully customized therapeutic massage session in Bozeman, MT, designed around what your body needs that day. Rather than locking into a single technique, I draw from my training in Western and Eastern massage modalities to create a session that supports pain relief, mobility, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being.

My education at Health Works Institute in Bozeman, along with my background working alongside mental health– and physical therapy–informed environments, shapes how I approach this work. Each session is intentional, communicative, and responsive—never one-size-fits-all.

An Integrated Massage may include a combination of:

  • Swedish massage for relaxation and stress reduction

  • Deep tissue techniques to address chronic tension and restricted movement

  • Myofascial release to improve fascial mobility and alignment

  • Neuromuscular trigger point therapy to address localized pain, muscle tension, and referral patterns

I often recommend Integrated Massage for clients who:

  • Aren’t sure which modality to choose

  • Want a session tailored to changing needs, stress levels, or injuries

  • Experience both physical tension and mental stress

  • Are new to massage therapy or returning after time away

  • Prefer a thoughtful, adaptive approach to bodywork

Integrated Massage is the best place to start for most clients and allows us to adjust techniques in real time to support comfort, effectiveness, and long-term progress.

CUPPING THERAPY
Zeph Casias, LMT | Kokoro Massage and Bodywork, Bozeman, MT

My training exposed me to Eastern therapeutic techniques that complement Western massage therapy, especially when working with active bodies. These approaches focus on circulation, tissue mobility, and recovery—making them particularly useful for athletes and physically active individuals.

Cupping therapy is a technique I use to support tissue mobility and circulation without relying on deep, compressive pressure. By creating gentle negative pressure, cupping helps lift and separate soft tissue layers, encouraging blood flow and easing areas of restriction.

I often recommend cupping therapy for clients who:

  • Are athletes or engage in regular physical activity

  • Experience muscle stiffness or limited mobility

  • Need recovery support without aggressive pressure

  • Have areas of chronic tension that don’t respond well to deep tissue alone

Cupping Therapy can also be booked as a standalone session to target areas of chronic tension, improve circulation, and support recovery. It’s particularly beneficial for athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enhance mobility, release tight muscles, and promote overall wellness in the Bozeman, MT area.

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Zeph Casias, LMT | Kokoro Massage and Bodywork, Bozeman, MT

Myofascial release is a therapeutic modality that targets restrictions in the fascial system—the connective tissue network surrounding and supporting muscles, joints, and organs. Through my education at Health Works Institute and my background in mental health–informed care, I’ve seen how fascial restrictions can contribute to pain, limited movement, and ongoing discomfort that doesn’t always respond to traditional massage techniques.

This work uses slow, sustained pressure rather than force, allowing the fascial system to soften and realign.

Benefits of Myofascial Release

  • Improves mobility and range of motion

  • Reduces tension held in connective tissue

  • Supports the body’s ability to move freely

  • Addresses long-standing patterns involving both the physical body and the nervous system

  • Supports overall wellness and functional balance

I often recommend myofascial release for clients who:

  • Experience chronic pain without a clear muscular cause

  • Feel restricted, “stuck,” or limited in their movement

  • Have a history of injury, surgery, or repetitive strain

  • Notice discomfort that returns quickly after other types of massage

  • Are sensitive to deep pressure but still need effective therapeutic work

For many clients in the Bozeman, MT area, myofascial release becomes an integral part of a therapeutic plan focused on restoring balance, improving function, and supporting long-term well-being.

HOT STONE MASSAGE
Zeph Casias, LMT | Kokoro Massage and Bodywork, Bozeman, MT

Hot Stone Massage is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic modality that uses smooth, heated stones to enhance massage techniques. The warmth from the stones helps muscles relax more easily, allowing for deeper tension release, improved circulation, and enhanced overall comfort during your session.

This approach is especially helpful for clients who carry chronic tension, experience stiffness, or simply want a profoundly relaxing massage experience.

Benefits of Hot Stone Massage

  • Relieves muscle tension and stiffness

  • Improves circulation and blood flow

  • Promotes deep relaxation and stress reduction

  • Enhances mobility and range of motion

  • Supports overall wellness and physical comfort

I often recommend myofascial release for clients who:

  • Carry chronic tension or tightness in muscles

  • Feel stressed or mentally fatigued and want deep relaxation

  • Experience limited mobility or stiffness

  • Prefer a soothing, warming approach to massage

  • Are seeking a restorative, therapeutic experience that combines relaxation with muscle release

For many clients in the Bozeman, MT area, Hot Stone Massage provides a comforting, results-focused session that supports relaxation, improved movement, and overall wellness.
